Because I’m single,

sometimes I yearn for human touch.

Especially when I’m not in a relationship

it feels like my skin is starving for touch.

You actually can ache because of the lack of

physical connection.

I’m not talking about sex,

I’m talking about touch.

During the pandemic, we are more isolated

less connected, and less touched.

The energy that comes from human touch

can be soothing, healing, comforting.

Touch is important for us humans,

That’s why a large part of our brain is used

to analyze this sense of touch.

Human touch releases oxytocin.

Oxytocin has been known as the cuddle hormone

because it produces feelings of love and connection.

Sometimes I make my good friend just hug me.

He’s got healing hands.

Or a massage might work.

It’s hard to come up with solutions right now

because of the pandemic and social distancing.

Most people need hugs and

human connection.

We, humans, are social creatures.

Skin hunger is a thing….

As soon as it’s safe

Go get some hugs….
